Terms and Conditions
This site is owned by Glentoran Superstore (hereafter THE MERCHANT), with an address at The Oval, Parkgate Drive, Belfast BT4 1EW (hereafter THE MERCHANT ADDRESS), and email address at shop@glentoransuperstore.com.
Any purchase of goods from the site www.glentoransuperstore.com (hereafter THE MERCHANT SITE) requires the customer to consult and accept these terms and conditions. The click validating the order implies full acceptance of these terms and represents the customer's "digital signature".
Purpose
These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties in the sale of goods proposed online by THE MERCHANT for the customer.
Order Confirmation
All contractual information will be confirmed by email to the address specified by the customer during purchase.
Proof of Transaction
Records stored in THE MERCHANT's computer systems are considered proof of communications, orders, and payments made. Purchase orders and invoices are stored on a reliable system and can be produced as evidence.
Product Information
Every effort is made to ensure accuracy on THE MERCHANT SITE. THE MERCHANT or its suppliers will not be held liable for consequences or damages resulting from transmission errors or content inaccuracies. Product names are for identification only. Product images, descriptions and prices are non-contractual.
Validity of Offers and Prices
All prices are valid on the day viewed and subject to change without notice.
Delivery Terms
Products are delivered to the address on the customer’s purchase order and only to serviceable areas.
All items leave our premises in perfect condition. The customer must notify the CARRIER (e.g. Royal Mail, City Air Express) of any damage (e.g. holes, crushing) and may refuse the parcel. We will send a replacement free of charge.
Claims for damage after delivery without notification will not be accepted. In case of delay or loss, the carrier will investigate. If the parcel is lost, the carrier will reimburse THE MERCHANT, and a new item will be dispatched free of charge.
THE MERCHANT is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, including those due to weather or strikes.
Loss or Damage in Transit
THE MERCHANT is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit unless the customer gives written or email notice within 3 business days of delivery. Items must be held for inspection or collection by THE MERCHANT or their representative.
Delivery Errors
The customer must inform THE MERCHANT immediately (same or next business day) of any delivery error or non-conformity.
Claims must be sent to THE MERCHANT ADDRESS or emailed to superstore@glentoran.com. Claims outside this time frame cannot be accepted.
In case of error, items must be returned in full, in original packaging, and in perfect condition.
Returns
We offer free returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.
Please note:
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Items must have tags intact and be in original packaging.
- Items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
To initiate a return or exchange:
Return the item in person or via recorded/tracked mail. Include the invoice or till receipt as proof of purchase.

Warranty
These terms do not affect your statutory rights regarding latent defects.
THE MERCHANT is not the manufacturer and shall not be liable for product defects. Only the manufacturer is responsible for any injury or damage caused by faulty goods.
All items are covered by a 6-month warranty, except those altered or repaired by third parties not authorised by THE MERCHANT. Warranty extensions may be available as stated in-store or online.
Right to Withdrawal
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, customers have 7 business days from receipt of goods to cancel the contract and return items at their own cost, without reason.
This right does not apply to personalised goods or unsealed media (e.g. DVDs, software).
Only complete, unused goods in resaleable condition will be accepted. Damaged, incomplete or unsealed goods, including packaging damage, are not refundable.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of withdrawal. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Right of Use
Use of any trademarks, logos or brands on this site is strictly prohibited.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond their control, including (but not limited to): strikes, floods, storms, fires, explosions, earthquakes, or telecom outages.
The affected party must notify the other within 10 business days of becoming aware of the event. If the force majeure lasts over one month, either party may terminate the agreement.
Partial Invalidity
If any clause is deemed invalid by law, the rest of these terms remain enforceable.
Non-Waiver
No waiver of any term shall constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other term.
Data Protection
Personal data is used only to process orders and will be handled in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Northern Ireland law. Customers agree to seek an amicable resolution before taking legal action. If needed, all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
